The Marina is comprised of two main areas - North Harbour and South Harbour.

The North Harbour was the first area in the Marina to be developed. It now contains established houses, apartments, shopping and leisure areas, along with Seashells Resort Mandurah, the Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club, marina boat pens and associated businesses.

The North Harbour provides the perfect location for the annual Club Marine Mandurah Ocean Marina Boat & Fishing Show.

The South Harbour, with its unique Venetian-inspired waterways, is set to become Mandurah's newest tourist attraction. This area is currently a hive of activity with many property developments under construction. These developments will comprise both permanent and short-stay accommodation, along with retail, entertainment and office space.

The South Harbour also has its own mini-marina, and is home to the budget-friendly Mandurah Ocean Marina Chalets.
